DO & DON'T After Getting Eyelash Extensions

DO & DON'T After Getting Eyelash Extensions

DON'T

Don't rub your eyes:
Rubbing your eyes is a form of external pulling, and even if you don't have extensions, if you keep rubbing your eyes, your lashes will fall out easily.

Don't use oily products to remove make-up:
oils and fats will dissolve the black glue, so avoid using oily make-up removers or cosmetics around the eye area, such as make-up remover oils, milks, and creams. Similarly, if your eyelids are prone to oiliness, your eyelashes will fall out more easily.

Avoid heat for the first three days after getting eyelash extensions:
The lash glue used for eyelash extensions is not only afraid of oil, but also afraid of heat! It takes 2-3 days for the vinyl to cure, so to avoid heat dissolving the adhesive and causing your lashes to fall out faster, avoid taking baths, going to hot springs, and going in and out of steam rooms and ovens for the first three days after you get your extensions. In addition, heat will cause chemical changes in the eyelash extensions' glue, producing gases that can cause an eye irritation if your eyes are sensitive.

Don't wear mascara:
Mascara needs to be removed with an oil-based product, which affects the adhesion of the vinyl.

Try not to use towels or cotton pads to wipe around the eyes: Because towels are generally cotton, they tend to hook the eyelashes and pull them off, and the cotton pads' lint tends to stay on the eyelashes, so it is recommended to use a high-density sponge to help clean and wipe when washing your face. You can slide it directly over the lashes, it doesn't matter if you wipe the lashes directly, or you can press it to dry the moisture on your eyes.

DOs

Every day with an eyelash comb to organize the eyelashes:
just like combing hair, after a shower, blow-drying hair can be used to organize the eyelashes, from the root to the end of the comb, can help to organize the eyelashes to avoid tangled sticky, and the eyelash comb can be used to help to organize the eyelashes to avoid tangled sticky.

Eyelashes must be cleaned:
Some people avoid cleaning around the eyes for fear of losing their eyelashes, but this is a misconception! It's important to clean the roots of your lashes because when oil builds up, it only makes your lashes fall out faster, and a lack of hygiene can easily lead to eye inflammation!

How do I clean my extensions?
Use your fingertips to bring the cleansing bubbles to the lashes and glide them in the direction of the lashes, from top to bottom, to wash away secretions, makeup residue, dust, oil and grease from the eyes.... etc.

Because real eyelashes are metabolized, it is normal to lose 1~2 eyelashes per day, so don't worry too much.

The advantage of eyelash extensions is that there is more flexibility in the choice of make-up, which can be thick or natural, and there is less irritation or foreign body sensation after the extensions, and they will not harm the original eyelashes, and you can choose according to the style and material you want.

In addition to the condition and thickness of the original eyelashes, different eye types, such as eye size, single and double eyelids, will also affect the number of extensions and the method. Usually, the eyelash artist will give the best advice and adjustments to the client's eye shape based on the client's desire.
