What size is best for mega volume lash extensions?

For mega volume sets, 0.05mm is the go-to thickness — it's light enough to stack multiple strands on one natural lash without causing damage or premature shed. Fan dimension-wise, most artists work in the 10D to 20D range for mega volume. If your client has finer natural lashes, stay in the 10D–14D range and use 0.05mm. For clients with stronger lashes who want maximum density, 16D to 20D in 0.05mm gives the fullest possible result.

Russian volume vs mega volume — what's the difference?

Russian volume lash extensions typically refers to handmade fans in the 2D–6D range, using 0.07mm fiber. It's the technique that started the volume movement. Mega volume pushes that further — higher strand counts, finer fiber, more dramatic results. Both are covered in this collection.

Wispy volume lash extensions

Wispy volume lash extensions mix different lengths within the set to create a spiky, textured finish rather than a smooth, uniform look. It's one of the most requested styles right now. You can achieve it with easy fan lashes using a mixed length tray, or by intentionally varying lengths as you work across the lash map.

Classic vs volume lash extensions — which should you offer?

Classic lashes apply one extension to one natural lash — cleaner, more natural finish, faster application. Volume lash extensions apply a fan of multiple extensions to one natural lash — fuller, fluffier, more dramatic. Most salons offer both. If you're just starting out, classic is easier to learn; volume takes more technique but commands higher appointment prices.
