Types of False Lashes
Cluster DIY Lashes
Single Cluster False Eyelashes are divided into small clusters of 3 to 5 false eyelashes to maintain a natural look and add volume to your eyelashes. To apply, apply adhesive directly to the bottom of the cluster and wait 15 to 30 seconds for the adhesive to become tacky before applying to the base of the lashes. Close your eyes and let it dry for a few seconds, then continue applying it - as close to the outside of the lash root as possible. Once all the false lashes are dry, curl them to match your own lashes and finish with a coat of mascara.
Full Strip False Eyelashes
Tradiontal one strip false lashes should be applied to the entire root of your lashes. Before applying them, cut them to the right length. If the false lashes are too long, you can simply use scissors to cut off the excess. When everything is ready, apply lash glue all over the bottom of the false lashes, starting from the center of the lashes and pressing the ends of the corners of the eyes. It is important to note that the false lashes should not be placed too close to the inner corner of the eye, as this tends to cause irritation. If you fail on your first attempt, try lightly dabbing a small amount of lash glue on the eyelid of the wrong area before applying the false lashes.
Multi-layered false eyelashes
For occasions such as weddings or proms, exaggerated false eyelashes always create more drama, and at the Spring/Summer 2012 Marc Jacobs show, the make-up artist even gave the models three layers of false eyelashes. For a double effect, you can also carefully layer a second layer of false eyelashes right at the base of the first. This takes a lot of practice, and the more times you apply them, the closer the result will be to perfection. To make the two layers of false lashes blend together, you should use an eyelash curler to curl them before applying mascara.
Can I reuse false eyelashes? It seems too wasteful to throw away new false eyelashes after using them once, but if you reuse them, the thick glue on them looks like it really affects the makeup, in fact, false eyelashes can be reused, but the number of times you reuse them will be different according to your own maintenance level and the material of false eyelashes. Let’s see what kind of false eyelashes can be reused, and the correct way to reuse.
- Silk fiber: this is very common on the market, the line stems and hair are harder, the effect is more dense and exaggerated, suitable for the stage, or colorful eye makeup. Overall less suitable for use in life, looks very fake, and the eyes will be uncomfortable, there is a sense of weight.
- Cotton thread texture (is often referred to as traditional strip false lashes)
- Real hair (or animal hair) texture, the effect is good, but the price is higher, the feeling is not quite worth it, and most of the European and American version, and our Oriental eye type is not quite fit.
Overall the harder the material should not be deformed, reuse the most often, and vice versa, the softer the more easily deformed, reuse less often. Such as nylon plastic texture properly maintained more than 20 times can be, such as cotton thread, real hair, etc. properly maintained can be used about 5 times. Of course, the number of repeated use is based on your own maintenance.
